The adjustable hosel meant I could set up the Alpha anywhere from 8 to 11 degrees. Maybe it was a fluke, so the next driver hole is a par 5 slightly uphill and into a slight breeze. The driver should produce spin rates in the 2,000’s and the 9 iron may go all the way up into the 8,000’s. Also I'm assuming you tested the 9° head, did you find yourself wanting to ‘loft up' with this driver similar to the SLDR? I believe a shaft change will keep the distance and add control.
