As I understand it, if you have mismatch spees on the PCI-e slots, the computer will use the slower of the two for both cards. 0 Go to top Share this I swapped a Mazdaspeed motor and turbo into it in October.. JustAnotherRat2nd January 2017, 09:14 PMJust got home, went out and checked and yep, it's set up exactly the same as if there was a coloured ROM pointing to the palette the They can be had for the same sort of price as the HP and have the advantage of being a full generation newer, which I reckn counts for somethng here. I'm out of ideas but I can say nothing is running above 50-60% and most cores down around 20 all the time EDIT I just watched the CPU% as I ran Some questions I'm fighting with right now are: XP really doesn't harness the power of new high end systems; can you really get the best out of an XP setup or
Mind you I've put a lot of time into tweaking the tables to tone down their feel as I personally find most of the tables are too bouncy and the ball And don't get me started on Win7 dictating monitor resoutions - that was another reason for me preferring XP! I don't have any issues running b2s and all options set to maximum in vp10, but I am runing a 4GB 970 gtx, but also my vpin PC is my regular Sign In Now Sign in to follow this Followers 0 Go To Topic Listing HyperPin 1.x Support All Activity Home Forums HyperPin HyperPin HyperPin 1.x Support How to get the best
What CPU does your Elite 8000 have? Should I go with an SSD over 128gb? EDIT: I see the DSR setting in global settings. Just beware the tables with alpha flashers, they look nice but are a bitch to run sometimes.
In FP on Win7 with 182.50 I was having issues with the screens going black any time I had two screen setup enabled. I'd say that's a big plus in my book. This is what I do for a living. I've been trying to come to terms with it after a few months of using vpx beta.
You normally have to use and older driver. There doesnt seem to be a profile for it in nvidia inspector. No issues at all here now since the upgrade to W10 and this PC is 2 years old running a core i3 Haswell (3.4Ghz), 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM + a 2GB OzStick12th February 2016, 02:34 PMNice to hear Jammasized.
Now that I am running the Pin2DMD setup I'm back to two monitors so I was considering messing around with XP again - frankly I'm sick to death of all the https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1181862 I thought my pc was a chance but unless I have something set very wrong, I have no chance. When I opened the pic on my desktop PC though, the image appeared normal with no "haze" at all!!!! I will get some fps readings for vpx and vp9.9 in my 2 screen b2s setup and post with my spec, for reference.
Also, I was not able to clear up the weird issue I was seeing on both PCs yesterday, which is that there appears to be a "haze layer" over VP10 tables check over here It appears that the GTX750 and GTX750ti are being phased out. What's a 750ti worth ? Newer Than: Search this thread only Search this forum only Display results as threads Useful Searches Recent Posts More...
There's very little difference between AAx0-DSRx0 and AAx0-DSRx4, and no difference between AAx4-DSRx0 and AAx4-DSRx4. I know JED and OZStick both were earlier on but JED at least has taken a liking to it. Also you can play around with the "DSR smoothness" slider right below the DSR resultions in the global settings of the driver panel (which affects the downsample filter and results in his comment is here CONGO..screenshot down scaled...
Also with roms. Some recent drivers cause graphics glitches and issues. Platinum Member 10 1,001 posts Posted July 23, 2010 Like to try this...
So basically if i turn off AO that will go away I guess. Not happy. There is virtually nothing else using the CPU as I've disabled everything can think of. Like @StevOz (http://www.aussiearcade.com/member.php?u=626) mentioned he had them set to 0, and this has made a world of difference to my setup.
It's nice to see for instance, table lighting reflecting off the ball in realtime (if you have that setting enabled) There is still though, flipper lag when compared to real pinball. Knowing the price of 256gb or larger SSDs will drop like a rock in the next 14 months... To that end, if I was pushed hard to "endorse" a minimum spec PC that will run as many of the newest, hungriest VPX tables as possible, then I'd say: i5-2400, weblink Once that's all done i will post up a few pics showing the settings I am using in VPX to achieve these results.
Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? I have also at one stage over clocked my monitor to 66Hz and had no stutter synced to 66 with B2S also running, this is with VPX, I only switched it Especially on JP's recents. I'll keep hunting for the root of that problem.

I love the look of VPX but the actual game play for me on many tables doesn't play as well. with a 10% discount offered when paying with paypal the total price was $126 free delivery.
Nice screens. If you do this extra testing and post results here, someone may be able to figure out what is wrong. Personally i dont see the point. Do you not set DSR by each game .exe?

Personally, I would be looking for a minimum spec that runs all tables with NO microstutter. I assume you're running Win7? Finally today I had enough, I went back to my restore point (important when you do anything big) and BOOM, silky smoothness all over again.
