IMHO you should stop Device driver automatic installation, then Uninstall the installed nvidia driver, and try 341.95 WHQL. 341.95 WHQL should work with both of your cards. Now that I finally have time and money to upgrade from an old PIV to a dual-core solution, I also decided to change a 'red' GPU to a 'green' one.
Alot of times newer drivers are optimized for newer model cards and actually decrease performance on older cards. The time now is 18:19. It depends on the game as well. Just made an image of the & partition so if it tanks, I'll be able to go back easily.
