I experience jerky graphic in some of these GL screensavers (eg. "Colorfire", in Gnome-Glx-screensvares), especially when running some torrent-downloads, but no matter in what occassion these slowdowns / graphics jerkyness / It must be stable with desktop effects/Beryl and GL in general.
Please read the release notes for more information on product support, features, driver fixes and known compatibility issues. Did you use these instructions to set up your video driver? I have a 5900XT and I am using the 61.77 driver as well as DirectX 9.0c, saw an improvement when upgrading to these drivers. Could it just be a Chaintech issue? GeForce ForceWare and GeForce Exerience drivers are for NVIDIA Quadro and all GeForce based videocards. I think that is the best way to get full 3d support. Also, now I managed to track down the main cause of my graphic/GL issue.

my farcry performance and gaming performance in general is still smooth with the mem @ 700. Newest isn't always best. Any ideas what's wrong?
