The Bosch grips are not as nice as the M12 grips, especially the revised Fuel style grips. And the same applies when driving a screw—an impact driver won't damage the head.
Oddly, our unit was more powerful when drilling in (clockwise) than out (counter-clockwise).We're not sure why, and the Bosch owners we surveyed did not report similar issues. Our advice: Spend $10 or so for a good set of old-fashioned hand screwdrivers instead. I switched to the M12 line because their selection of tools is so superior to the Bosch 12v lineup. Each drill needed to drill 12 holes cleanly to use the high speed data.
